Inspiring Minds Marketplace Opens Today

INSPIRING MINDS MARKETPLACE: The third annual Inspiring Minds summer market will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Warren G. Harding High School’s Mollenkopf Stadium, 860 Elm Road NE, Warren. The market highlights what students at Inspiring Minds learned about entrepreneurship by showcasing more than 30 businesses they created throughout the summer program.

CHURCH GARAGE SALE: Howland United Methodist Church, 730 Howland Wilson Road NE, Warren, is hosting its 41st annual garage sale 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. For more information, go to howlandumc.com.

MUSIC ON THE LAWN: The McKinley Birthplace Memorial will have music on the lawn 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.

WGH REUNION: The Warren G. Harding High School Class of 1984 will have its 40th class reunion 5 p.m. Saturday at the Holiday Bar, 2124 Elm Road, Warren.

RUMMAGE / YARD SALE: Summit Assembly of God Church, 2615 Salt Springs Road, Girard, is holding a rummage / yard sale to raise money for the church’s 100 year anniversary in August. The sale is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. To book a space, call 330-288-8730 and leave a message.

STEM AT THE LIBRARY: The Summer Reading program’s last event, Adventure of the Lost Treasure, will be presented as an interactive STEM learning activity by Science Heroes from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial in Niles. Refreshments will be served.

In the event of bad weather, the program will be at the McKinley Birthplace Home.
